Meet Our New Head Of School
Logos Academy is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Jennifer Fisler as its next Head of School. Dr. Fisler will join Logos Academy’s leadership team as the school’s Christ-centered, urban classical mission continues to grow and deepen its impact in York and beyond.
Dr. Fisler brings more than twenty years of distinguished leadership experience in Christian education. Most recently serving as Dean of the School of Graduate & Professional Studies at Messiah University in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, she has built a career marked by faculty development, academic program innovation, institutional strengthening, and mission-aligned leadership within Christian educational settings. She holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Psychology from Rutgers
University.
Dr. Fisler is no stranger to Logos Academy. She has served on the school’s Board of Directors since 2023, giving her a meaningful understanding of Logos’ distinctive mission, its community, and the values that make it one of the most compelling urban classical Christian schools in the nation.

Dr. Fisler is known for leading with trust, transparency, and a commitment to both academic excellence and the flourishing of every person in the community she serves. Her leadership philosophy centers on the conviction that good leadership is an act of love for the people served, for the organization, and for God.

I look forward to walking alongside this community and building together toward what God has ahead.”
Dr. Fisler and her husband, Andrew, are the parents of three adult children. She is an active member of her church community and volunteers with a local ministry.
The search was led by Shepherd Group, a national executive search and consulting firm serving Christian schools and nonprofits. Dr. Fisler’s appointment will take effect in a transition season designed to support continuity and community health.
