In Memory of Adrianne Clark 1366 x 250

Adrianne Clark taught at Logos Academy for 7 years, beginning in September of 2018 and continuing through the end of last school year. As a teacher, Adrianne was deeply loved by her students and embodied the qualities and character that many educators aspire to hold. She had an authentic way of both sharing affection with her “cherubs,” while also calling them to a higher standard. As a person, Adrianne was genuine and never pretentious. She was at peace with who God had made her to be and because of that peace, she accepted others exactly as they were, which was a quality her students deeply felt.

Adrianne’s joyful spirit and wonderful sense of humor remained even through her suffering. After her first chemotherapy treatment on December 1st, 2022, she would still arrive for middle school prayer time ready to lift up her students to God. For two and a half years, she persevered through treatment, continuing to teach despite increasing limitations. Even as she gradually lost independence and mobility, Adrianne consistently found reasons for which to be thankful, focusing on blessings, when others might only see what was being taken away.

We have witnessed the power of faith through Adrianne’s journey. She walked her path with remarkable courage, embodying the truth that the Christian life reveals beauty and glory through the cross. Adrianne carried her cross with grace and strength. She has finished her race and she has done well. Her legacy of faith, joy, and genuine love for her students will continue to inspire our community for years to come.
